Entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses in Lincoln shopping centre

This story is over

Nearly a dozen entrepreneurs from across the county will showcase their goods and services in Lincoln’s Waterside Shopping Centre.

Members of The Prince’s Trust will have the opportunity to sell their wares for a day on Friday, October 21 as part of an initiative aimed at helping nearby small businesses grow by reaching a larger audience.

Mary-Jane Booth, Marketing Coordinator at Waterside Shopping Centre, said: “Encouraging growth and helping local small businesses succeed is something we’re always trying to achieve.

“Without small businesses like those visiting us on October 21, shoppers would have far less choice when it comes to treating themselves or a loved one to something special and unique, plus each business is an important part of the county’s economy.”

Businesses selected to trade from the centre include design and branding company Motacilla, bespoke artworks of Pippa Paws, POP nails, The Soap Box and fashion company Street Panda Clothing.

Pam Willows-Chamberlin, Programme Executive, Enterprise and Awards for The Prince’s Trust, said: “Trading alongside major retailers like H&M, Next, The Body Shop and all the others is sure to be a confidence booster for everyone taking part.

“In the end, though, our hope is that this experience helps generate new leads and sales for all of our Prince’s Trust businesses displaying on the day.”
