Landlords and letting agents are invited to attend the East Midlands Property Owners (EMPO) Expo to get the latest rental advice and support in the county.
Held at the Bentley Hotel on Newark Road in Lincoln on October 19th, the free expo will have an array of exhibitors including local authorities and businesses specialising in providing products and services specific to the private sector landlord.
Seminars include recent legal and legislative developments in the private rented sector and the expected impacts of the housing policies being advocated by the political parties.
There will also be a Q&A session where delegates can put their questions to a panel of professional property experts.
Giles Inman, spokesperson for EMPO, said: “The private rental sector is the fastest growing area of the market currently, with demand for rent having doubled in the last decade. As a consequence regulation has altered rapidly too, creating much confusion and uncertainty in the sector.”
“So our overall aim for the Expo is to help property investors secure the very best advice and money saving services in this ever changing market. This means ultimately that tenants will benefit from decent and safe homes.”
