Lincoln entrepreneurs and failed Dragon’s Den pitchers have secured additional investment following their debut on the BBC series in August.

Beauty Boulevard founders and creators of Glitter Lips Rachel de Caux and Paula Short showcased their sparkly produce on the show, and although Peter Jones tried on the product, he decided not to invest.

The entrepreneurs have since been offered £90,000 for 30% of their business by international hair cosmetics company Affinage.

The beauty company will now be able to take advantage of the Affinage’s far reach of 54 countries.

Distribution and fulfilment will be done from Affinage’s head office, where Beauty Boulevard will now be able to tap into its resources from finance and administration to its marketing and legal teams.

The investment will be used to purchase the stock required to keep up with demand and also to fund new product research and development.
