Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists (LVS) has marked 10 years of business this week, which owner Andy Bower puts down to exceptional customer service.
Having worked for large brands before starting out on his own, Andy wanted to change the stigma surrounding the motor trade industry.
In 2006, he left employment and set up LVS, where for six months, he built up the company on his own.
Since then, the company has outgrown three different sites and now operates from Lincoln Enterprise Park, employing seven people with a turnover of £640,000.
Andy said: “We are now in the position that we have an established business and we are looking to continue our steady growth.
We have built the company on honesty. The motor trade trade doesn’t have the best reputation and we are working hard to change that.
“LVS was a dream I had 15 years ago whilst working for Lincoln Volkswagen, my dream was to set up an independent specialist that offered all the services and amenities of a franchised dealer, but with the friendliness and individual service only an independent garage can offer.
“My other goal was to create a happy and positive working environment for not only myself but the team of people who work with me.”
To mark the anniversary, the company will be giving its brand a facelift with a new website, providing virtual reality tours of the garage for people to see.
Andy added: “We have a new website coming with some great features along with a lot of behind the scenes work going on including training and investing in new tools, equipment and technology.”
