Food preparation and packaging company Freshtime UK is continuing the expansion of its Boston site with additional renovations following a site rebuild.

The new planning application, submitted to Boston Borough Council, requests external alterations to an existing office block plus side extensions.

This renovation is all part of an ongoing development across the whole Freshtime site, where some offices will be demolished and replaced with a new office block and packaging building.

The new office block will be roughly 32.8m long by 8.6m wide and will replace the existing office block, whilst the new packaging store will be around 32.6m wide and 12.9m deep.

Mark Newton, managing director for Freshtime UK, said: “The building works at Freshtime’s Marsh Lane site in Boston are part of the ongoing expansion of the business helping us to build a platform for future growth.

“Freshtime gained planning permission in August 2016 to expand the production area and construct a new packaging store.

“This new building will also include facilities for product innovation and customer presentations.”
