Lincolnshire businesses will have the chance to gain insight into latest technology with advice from industry experts, seminars, workshops and flagship county awards in the first Lincolnshire Tech Week.
Organised by Lincolnshire Business, the week of activities between May 15 and 21 will include the third annual Lincolnshire Digital and Tech Awards, as well as the brand new Lincolnshire Tech Expo and Lincoln Hack.
Lincolnshire Tech Week is aimed at promoting and rewarding existing businesses in the tech world as well as to helping to educate and inform other companies looking to expand their knowledge and expertise.
As a new event for Greater Lincolnshire, and following the success of the Lincolnshire Business Expo, the Lincolnshire Tech Expo and Conference will be held on May 17 at the Lincolnshire Showground.
The day will showcase exhibitors and speakers from across the county to help businesses make new contacts and gain valuable insights into the world of tech.
Early bird registration is now open for exhibitors and sponsors on the Lincolnshire Tech Week website, which will also be updated as new events are confirmed.
Dean Graham, Publisher of Lincolnshire Business and Event Director, said: “Tech is often synonymous with digital industries, engineering and science but examples of technology can be found in every industry.
“Lincolnshire has a rich history of invention and innovation. From the birth of the tank in Lincoln to RAF Cranwell being home to the first test flight of the jet engine.
“Rather than just celebrating past achievements, we want to showcase the very best of what Lincolnshire is currently producing.
“Lincolnshire Tech Week will educate, promote and award those involved in industries that are flourishing from the advent of new technology.”
