Redhill Farm set to open new Lincoln store

This story is over

Lincolnshire free range pork business Redhill Farm is set to open its first commercial shop on Lincoln Bailgate in the former Elite Meats, which closed October.

Signs have gone up in store windows to announce the opening, which is expected to create new jobs for the local area and be open in spring.

The store would be the first outside of the family-owned business’ farm shop, which is based on Laughton Lane in Morton near Gainsborough.

Redhill Farm Free Range Pork farms is run by Director Jane Tomlinson, with her husband Terry. Together, over the last 15 years, they have built up their Lincolnshire brand, supplying restaurants and cafes, as well as trading at numerous markets and events.

The business holds a number of local and national awards to its name.

The inside of the store is currently still empty but work is expected to start soon

The new store will offer customers a range of its own produce including sausages, bacon, fresh free range pork, porkpies, haslet and seasonal products.

The former occupiers of the store Elite Meats closed in October after 25 years.
