New Kirton Costcutter officially opens after £150k investment

Costcutter in Kirton has been officially opened after a £150,000 investment.

Boston Mayor Councillor Stephen Woodliffe was at the official launch or the store on March 18 on Boston Road.

The new store is owned and run by mother and daughter duo Manjula and Suenita Keshwara and is the third all-new Costcutter store to open in the UK.

The store is showcasing a new brand and store design and utilising in-depth shopper insights to create a produce range specifically for the area to meet local shoppers’ needs.

It offers an extensive range of convenience products including food-to-go, a comprehensive selection of fresh food and chilled produce, beers, wines and spirits, Tchibo coffee and locally sourced meats and locally grown fruit and vegetables.

It will also continue to operate a main Post Office counter and an out-of-hours counter offering a range of services.

The Kirton store is one of the first new look Costcutter stores in the country and forms part of a brand transformation programme.

The new store will open seven days a week from 7am to 9pm and will continue to be run as a family business. The store on 17-19 Boston Rd, Kirton has been run by the Keshwara family since 1986.
