Video: Lincoln developers mark half-way point for new luxury apartments

Development of the £20 million One the Brayford project is now 50% complete, paving the way for three new restaurants, 89 luxury apartments and office space on Lincoln’s waterfront.

The project is hoped to create at least 100 new jobs for the area.

Jackson & Jackson, the developers behind the project, are also behind the design of Lincoln’s newest luxury student accommodation The Gateway off Tritton Road.

Work on Mill House includes the reconstruction, of the existing five storey original traditional reinforced insitu concrete structure with brickwork cladding and an additional two storeys extension on the roof plus eight storey extension on the side.

More than 40% of the luxury apartments have already been been reserved, ranging from £125,000 to £500,000.

The work that is being carried out by 10 Lincolnshire contractors, including Lincoln-based Lindum Construction, started in June 2016.

In total the project is expected to use around 400 tonnes of structural steelwork, 2300m2 of metal decking, 860m3 of concrete and 1000m2 of metal deck roofing with Iopal roof system laid on top.
