Food manufacturer Bakkavor has announced it will be increasing its Bourne factory workforce by 100 people as a part of a nationwide drive to meet increasing demand.
Bakkavor employs over 18,000 people nationwide, 5,000 of whom work in the Lincolnshire area.
The fresh prepared foods manufacturing company will be adding to the 1,000 additional workers in the last year nationwide. The company has said that the increase is to meet the increasing capacity to demand.
The head of operations Johnathan Zair has said: “This is an exciting time for Bourne Prepared Produce as we create additional capacity to meet increased customer demand.
“We have a number of different roles on offer and we look forward welcoming the new colleagues to our team.”
