A workshop will be held to help Greater Lincolnshire businesses make the most of current EU funding opportunities.
The event will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday, May 16 at The Venue, Grantham Road, Navenby.
It will showcase several EU funding opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized rural enterprises in the Greater Lincolnshire area, as well as introduce businesses to programmes that they may apply to.
One of the funding programmes that will be brought up for discussion include the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The programme is making £3.7 million available for projects such as food processing, business development and tourism.
Participants also have the chance to learn more about the LEADER programme, which helps support several national priorities such as the increase in farm productivity through enhanced water and soil management, the boost in rural tourism alongside providing more rural services and the increase in forestry productivity.
The programme has been running for more than 10 years, and it has helped launch over 39 new businesses and create over 117 new jobs.
The LEADER programme has also already granted £961,768 to 22 local businesses across Lincolnshire so far this year, with £4,715,756 of funding still available.
Places for the workshop can be booked online here. Entry is free for all.
