Barrie Truelove, Director of Truelove Property & Construction Ltd has been named the LABC Warranty Site Manager of the Year in the LABC South Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards.
A prestigious award ceremony was held at Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort in Broughton near Brigg on May 11.
Truelove Property & Construction Ltd is a Lincolnshire based family-owned and family-run building firm. The firm has been operating since 1968.
Barrie, who is currently out of the country supporting his young daughter in a showjumping competition was unable to accept the award.
His nephew, Truelove’s Site Supervisor Luke Clifford and Sales Manager Sophie Barrett accepted it on his behalf.
The LABC Warranty Site Manager award recognises the outstanding contribution of site managers and their high level of quality in construction. Barrie said: “I’m over the moon to have received this honour.”
“I’ve been in this business for a long time, so experience counts for a lot. It’s nice to win an award and be recognised for what you do well, but Truelove Property is a family business and every member of the team plays their part.”
Truelove Property have also been shortlisted for the East Midlands LABC Building Excellence Awards 2017. The company’s development at Rookery Meadows in Scotter, Lincolnshire is in the running to win the Best Small New Housing Development category.
A black tie awards ceremony is being held at Athena in Leicester on Friday June 9 2017. All of the regional winners will qualify for the LABC Grand Finals, taking place in London this November.
Both awards are organised by Local Authority Building Control.
2017 has been a tremendous year for Truelove Property. The firm could be in for a hat-trick win if they are successful in the LABC Building Excellence Awards next month.
In March earlier this year, the firm picked up the Best Residential Development Company – East Midlands in BUILD Magazine’s 2017 Home Builder Awards.
