Workforce boost at Lincolnshire machinery firm

A Lincolnshire business is rewarding its work force by promoting two members of staff and employing two people on full time contracts.

Morris Site Machinery’s Gosberton team have welcomed the new roles at the manufacturing and supplying business.

Ben Barnes spent five years assembling and fitting light towers and was promoted to production supervisor.

He said: “Along with working at the company for the past five years, my love of ‘tinkering’ and fixing engines and machines has allowed me to become one of the workshop’s most knowledgeable fitters.

“I am so grateful for this new opportunity and will continue to work with great passion for the products.”

Rob Coward joined the company on a temporary basis in January 2016 and has now been made Production Team Leader.

Stephen Yarnell and Paul Thompson have also been handed permanent contracts after previously being on temporary ones.

Productions Manager, Ian Ince, said: “We are delighted to reward the level of skill and experience our staff have, and recognise their potential for future growth.

“We are thrilled to see these talented team members progressing their careers with us as we have a firm company belief of encouraging the professional development of our staff.”
