The future of the manufacturing industry in Lincolnshire was put under the spotlight at a special conference in Lincoln.
The event took place in the Isaac Newton building at the University of Lincoln on Friday, September 15 and was hosted by Business Lincolnshire and Natwest.
Bringing together leaders from across the manufacturing sector, a number of topics, including the future of manufacturing, additive manufacturing, innovation, Brexit implications and how to improve manufacturing capacity, were up for discussion.
Speakers from across the UK including Phil Hatherley from Siemens, Eva Fryc from Engineering UK and Mike Dickinson from SMMT Industry Forum, also took to the stage.
Delegates also heard about the Midlands Engine and what support will be available to the region’s advanced manufacturing supply chain.
