Sleaford print firm set for relocation and £1m investment

A digital print company based in Sleaford is to move to a new 12,000 square foot site, along with an investment of more than £1 million in a new digital printing and finish kit.

DPS Digital will relocate in November with its 16 members of staff to East Road, Sleaford, which is over six times bigger than the current site.

Four jobs have also been created from the investment, including two roles in sales.

The new HP Digital 12000

A new HP Indigo 12000 digital press has been purchased to help the company with its growth as it aims to double its £1.2 million turnover within 12 months.

Managing Director Matt Savage, said: “The small Xerox Machines have been fine but we’ve got to the stage where we need to grow and go to the next level, and we needed something a bit more mature and a bit more industry known.

Four jobs have also been created from the investment, including two roles in sales.

“We looked at B2 digital presses ideally to bring some of the larger format print we send out in-house.

“This is the fourth site move by DPS and was driven by necessity. The market we’re in now and the level we’re at not many people ask what press you’ve got but when you start to go to print buyers it’s really the first question on the tick sheet.”
