Head of Visit Lincoln and key player in establishing the group Emma Tatlow has announced she is stepping down from the role.
Emma was responsible for the promotion of Lincoln during the city’s Magna Carta celebration in 2015. She is now taking up a new national role in the national Mayflower400 celebrations that are due to take place in 2020.
Simon Beardsley Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce said: “Emma helped to found the Visit Lincoln Partnership and it is through her hard work and determination that we are in a much better position now.
“Lincoln has come on leaps and bounds as a visitor destination in the last few years and Visit Lincoln has helped to bring the businesses and partners together to enable this to happen.”
Mark Hollingworth Chair of the Visit Lincoln partnership said: “Emma is going to be a hard act to follow and we are looking for someone ambitious, willing to take up this challenge and able to drive Visit Lincoln forward.”
