The Bradley Inn on Laceby Road in Grimsby reopened as a Sizzling Pub and Grill with a refreshed look, following a two-week refurbishment.
After a significant investment was made at the Bradley, six new jobs have been created in the local area.
Sizzling operates nearly 300 pubs across the UK, with numerous locations across Lincolnshire — which are being revamped across the board.
A Grimsby resident currently going through her second fight with Leukaemia was invited to cut the ribbon and officially reopen the new look pub last week.
Olivia Pexman, 22, who just completed four weeks of chemotherapy and is now waiting for a bone marrow transplant, was chosen to be the pub’s guest of honour.
Olivia reopened the pub by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and pouring the first pint at the pub, officially relaunching the new look Bradley Inn.
Pub manager Anne Coleman said: “We’re so pleased at how great the Bradley looks after its refurbishment, and we were so proud to have had Olivia reopen the pub for us.
“Olivia is such an inspirational young lady, with an amazing outlook and has the most beautiful smile. She’s very well-loved within the community and we wanted to honour her in the best possible way.”
