DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln has appointed a new General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing as part of the current £5 million investment project to further develop the hotel.
The extension to the property, on track for completion later this year, includes an additional 45 guestrooms and suites and over 500 square meters of new events space.
As well as the increased capacities, the improvements also include an additional function bar, flexible breakout space and views of Lincoln Cathedral and Castle from panoramic windows and two brand new outdoor terraces on the 4th and 5th floors.
Jonathan Pritchard joins the hotel on Brayford Marina as General Manager to continue and build upon the hotel’s success in recent years.
Following similar positions with Millennium & Copthorne, Barcelo and Marriott Hotels, Jonathan brings a wealth of hospitality leadership knowledge and skills to the DoubleTree Lincoln with over 20 years’ experience within the industry.

Karenza Soanes-Brown has also joined the team, taking a new position within the hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Karenza will be driving forward the sales and promotion of the new event spaces and bedrooms along with her team.
She said: “We’re really excited to see the growth of our events space double to over 1000 square meters.”
