Go Ape will open at Normanby Hall Country Park next month and is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the area.
The adventure park will officially open on Saturday, March 24 and include a new of obstacle courses in the sky.
Go Ape at Normanby Hall will have a ‘Tree Top Adventure’ and three loop ‘Tree Top Juniors’.
Activities will include:
- Amazon Bridge
- Grandpa’s crossing
- Tibetan bridge
- Tarzan Swing
- Five zip lines
Those taking on the Tree Top Adventure course will have the choice of 29 crossings and will brave the highest point of 7.22 metres.
For the younger adventurers, they will have the choice of 17 crossings on the Tree Top Junior course and will go up to 5.25 metres (highest point).
Go Ape at Normanby Hall Country Park is expected to create 26 jobs.
Councillor Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Community Wellbeing at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “It’s a real feat to have Go Ape, an international business, open in North Lincolnshire. It shows the confidence businesses have in our area as a place to invest.”
Nick Ruffles, Normanby Hall Go Ape Site Manager, added: “The course is set in the beautiful country park and you get a stunning view from the tree tops!
“We hope that many people will conquer their fear of heights at Go Ape and be inspired to try other adventures and challenges.”
Parking at Go Ape will cost £3 per car (valid booking confirmation is required) and Normanby Hall annual pass holders won’t have to pay for parking.
