Wrexham-based Educate Resourcing will expand their services to Lincolnshire after they acquired a Grantham teacher training business.
The businesses will come together under the banner of the Educate Resourcing group of companies
Grantham’s Educate Teacher Training was set up 15 years ago and also provides a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) academic qualification in partnership with Leeds Beckett University.
This acquisition by Educate Resourcing, who were only founded last year, will mean an expansion of its geographic reach to enter the teacher training market.
Julie Kitchen from Educate Teacher Training said: “There are strong synergies between the two businesses, which we can build on, along with complementary services that can add value to our offerings to the education sector.
“This deal will provide an important springboard for our business and we look forward to being part of the Educate Resourcing Group of Companies.”
Mark Jones, Director of Educate Resourcing, added: “The acquisition of Educate Teacher Training is a significant development for our business.
“Although we are a relatively young organisation, we have established a positive presence in the North Wales and North West markets through with our specialist services and the combined educational experience of our team.
“The addition of a teacher training provision will open new opportunities for the business in our existing locations, but importantly enable us to offer our alternative curriculum and tuition services to the Lincolnshire area and support the education of a growing number of young people.”
