A free workshop advising businesses in North Kesteven on making the best use of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, will take place next month.
Hosted by North Kesteven District Council and industry experts Kerching Retail, the event will take place on Monday, April 16 at 5.30pm at the Council Chamber at North Kesteven District Council, Kesteven Street, Sleaford.
There will be advice on what to post, when to post and how to make social media deliver for you.
Corin Birchall, from Kerching Retail, said: “With 75% of local people on social media and 95% of people under the age of 35 years, why do many businesses struggle to correlate social media activity with actual sales in the store?
“That’s what we will address in this two hour workshop. Turning clicks, likes, followers and shares into ‘money in the till’.”
Councillor Richard Wright, Leader of North Kesteven District Council and Executive Board Member with special interest in Economic Development, said: “This is the latest in a series of workshops we’ve held to help retailers in the District and we’re pleased to be able to host this one.
“Social media is an important tool for any business and we want to make sure people know how to make it work for them.
“We remain committed to supporting businesses in North Kesteven, and seeing them grow and flourish.”
