Grimsby-based business recovery and insolvency specialist Forbes Burton will host a free business advice workshop later this month.
Taking place on Friday, April 27 at The Enterprise Village on Prince Albert Gardens in Grimsby, the event aims to make business owners aware of how they can stop things going wrong and what to do if a problem arises.
Rick Smith and Ben Westoby of Forbes Burton will be hosting at the E-Factor Business workshop and will be giving advice on avoiding the pitfalls that many people fall into while trying to run a successful, thriving business.
The session will run from 8.30am until 10.30am and will cover key subject areas including:
- Knowing your figures
- Managing cash flow
- Minimising borrowing
- Not using HMRC as a bank
- Careful expansion
- Exit strategies
- How to tell if your company is in trouble
- Financing (consolidation)
- Company restarts
Humber Growth Hub advisers Tim Maddinson and Steve Parker will also be on hand to discuss the wide variety of business support programmes and grants available in the region.
