A free marketing toolkit has been launched for Lincolnshire businesses to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
The toolkit features a specially designed ‘RAF Lincolnshire’ badge in PNG, JPG and EPS format.
The badge comes in a range of colours and is available to download for free from the Visit Lincoln website.
The toolkit was put together by Lincoln Business Improvement Group and Visit Lincoln and designed by city-based integrated marketing agency The Energy Cell.
Joel Murray, digital marketing coordinator at Visit Lincoln said: “2018 is the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
“The occasion will be marked with televised events in London as well as a special programme of aviation-themed activities, events and exhibitions in Lincoln, plus the official opening of International Bomber Command Centre.
“There was a spike in tourism figures following coordinated marketing activity around Magna Carta 800 in 2015 and the Battle of Lincoln in 2017.
“This year we want to work with local businesses on our ‘RAF Lincolnshire’ marketing campaign which gives visitors a reason to visit and shows the county’s pride in the Royal Air Force past, present and future.
“We’re asking businesses to use the free toolkit and support our ambition to make Lincoln a top 10 visitor destination.”
