Lindum Group is to be presented with an award in recognition of its commitment to the health and safety of its employees, clients and contractors.
For the first time, Lindum has achieved a gold standard in the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK.
Gold award winners have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Lindum will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday, July 4.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Simon Gregory, Lindum Group Director with responsibility for Health and Safety, said: “We are incredibly proud of this award, which we believe sends a clear message to our employees and to our clients that we take their welfare very seriously.
“Health and Safety is a priority at board level and this flows through the Lindum business at all levels.
“But what this award really demonstrates is that the teams on site, at the forefront of the work we do, try to make sure they have safety built into their daily working practices.”
